Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Luggage tracking provides complete, real-time visibility of guest luggage throughout the entire cruise journey — from the moment it’s dropped off at the terminal until it arrives in the guest’s stateroom.

It is designed for cruise industry and onboard crew teams who manage guest luggage, stateroom delivery and logistics.

Access levels are role-based to ensure only authorized personnel can view or modify luggage information.

Each luggage tag is embedded with a barcode or a QR code. As bags pass through scanning checkpoints – such as drop-off, security, elevators, or delivery – RFID scanners capture the bag’s location and status.

Yes. The Luggage tracking records data is displayed in application, under guest profile and applicable report providing information on where each piece of luggage is last scanned – within the terminal or ship and it updates continuously as it moves through the scanning zones.

System instantly updates the new room number and indicates the record at the application in yellow. As soon as the tag is canned, the Bluetooth Printer will print a yellow luggage tag, containing the guest’s Booking Number, the old room number and the new room number. The bag is then re-routed to the new room.

The Found & Unknown Tags Overview identifies unassigned, unregistered, or misplaced bags, allowing staff to quickly associate the tag with a guest. It is also possible, when trying to locate the luggage, to use the scanner and the Scan for Tag button to see the luggage distance.

Compatible RFID scanners (fixed or handheld), Bluetooth label printers, and a Wi-Fi or shipboard network for real-time updates.

Yes. Every scan record is logged in the Scan Summary, which includes the timestamp, scan location, and user ID for full traceability and reporting.

We offer comprehensive onboarding for ship staff, including user guides, live demos, and technical support. Our remote support team is available at all times to troubleshoot issues, even while the ship is at sea.
